Magome-juku (Nakasendo)

Magome-juku (馬籠宿, Magome-juku) was the forty-third of the sixty-nine stations of the Nakasendō connecting Edo with Kyoto in Edo period Japan. Rustic stop on a feudal-era mail route, known for centuries-old water mills & classic noodle shops.

It is an Edo-period (1603 to 1868) lodging area. Along the Nakasendo route. The trade route between Kyoto and Edo or Tokyo today. Magome-juku is one of 69 accommodations. On the Nakasendo route and is the last camping stop in Kisoji. This is currently located in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture.

How do you get to Magome Juku?

1. From Gifu, use bus or train. The bitch came down at the station.
JR Nakatsugawa then there is a bus.
Kita Ena bus , Magome line, get off at Magome.

2. Bus from Meitetsu bus center Nagoya station >> Direct to Magome juku.

3. Train from Nagoya Station, get off at Nakatsugawa station Then take the Kita Ena bus, Magome line, and get off at Magome Juku.
