The castle was built in 1603, originally as a castle tower. It was 5 stories high but was damaged by a fire. It was rebuilt three stories high in 1854. From the top of Matsuyama Castle you can see views of the city. including the Seto Inland Sea

  • From JR Matsuyama Station, take tram line 5 to the Okaido stop and walk for 2 minutes. or
