Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is built along to the coast of Victoria Harbour. There are spectacular light and sound show in the evening around 20.00 pm. This promenade will see people come to see the light, set up the show such as singing, dance show, musical, and many more. Through people are from teenage to adults that want to show their ability.
This place begin from the colonial era Clock Tower and stretching all the way to Hung Hom as stroll along in Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. All the way you will see one part of the Avenue of Stars, the Hong Kong Cultural Center and Hong Kong Space Museum. This will be drawn to the dramatic topographical and architectural spectacle in Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbor.
The Avenue of Stars is modeled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which located along the Victoria Harbor waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Cultural Center located at Tsim Sha Tsui district, Kowloon of Hong Kong. On area over 10,000 Sq.m. The Center building in a shaped wing and was opened on November 8, 1989. Hong Kong Cultural Center have 9 facilities to visit such as Concert Hall, Grand Theatre, Studio Theatre, Exhibition Gallery, Foyer Exhibition Areas, Rehearsal Rooms, Practice Rooms & Function Rooms and Piazza. This also have hosted of artists from all over the globe in all arts disciplines from ballet to modern dance, classical to jazz music, and Greek tragedies to contemporary plays. The culture center open from 9 am to 11 pm daily. and also the front of building is the place for to watch A Symphony of Light in every night.
Hong Kong Space Museum is museum of the stars and outside the world such as Mar, The Moon. They have various activities for all age to play with skill. Inside there have Stanley Ho Space cinema, Space Science Zone and Astronaut Zone. There are also various players who provide knowledge. Recommended to go visit museum on Wednesday because the space museum open for free. But if going to another day will cost 10 dollars only.
How to get to Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
- MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit E. Walk towards Salisbury Road then turn right, take subway (pedestrian tunnel) next to YWCA to Hong Kong Cultural Centre, then walk to the Star Ferry Pier.
- take the Star Ferry from Central or Wan Chai. The promenade is next to the Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui.
- Take bus to Star Ferry station which is last stop from Kowloon side.
