[Review] The Gray Man

The Gray Man / The Gray Man: Invisible Kill / The Gray Man: ล่องหนฆ่า

It’s time for one of the biggest boxbusters of the year on the small screen. This is a movie that combines the crew and the top actors in the Hollywood industry, packed into a frantic action movie, “The Invisible Gray Man Kills” just for the name . Of the 2 young actors, the lead actor bought the hearts of the audience to press to see each other, and also got 2 pairs of brothers, famous directors of the era to join the army as well. But the result will come out well or not.

It’s the story of an invisible man, former CIA operative Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six, who is pulled by former head Donald Fitzroy from a federal penitentiary. He used to be an elite assassin sent by the agency on a mission. But now the situation has reversed. Six is murdered and chased around the world under the orders of Lloyd Hansen, a former CIA colleague who will do whatever it takes to get rid of him. But Officer Dani Miranda is there to help when he needs it.

As I said, this is a team of filmmakers and big-name actors “Joe and Anthony Russo” (from Avengers: Endgame) back to pick up the box bus. again after many years Of course they already have great experience in making Marvel films. Therefore, nothing can be only great anymore.

Therefore, this movie is like reducing their degree to another level. And unfortunately, the film has been poured with quite a lot of ready-made condiments, having to admit that The Gray Man has quite a big and serious production job. But every element that is put in It’s almost all finished material. Especially the action scenes and various chase scenes, we are almost familiar with this genre of action movies.

Another big problematic element of The Gray Man is the script, despite getting the same team from Avengers: Endgame to help shape the story. Whether it’s one of the directors with “Christopher Marcus” and “Stephen McFeeley”, it seems that the script of the movie is still not as intense and mellow. But it would not be possible to punish the script alone. Because the narrative of the movie is quite lacking in many of the connection points, during the intersections between the action scenes, the movie still makes the taste come out quite a bit bland, saying that the action scenes in The Gray Man is evocative and spectacular in almost every scene.

Let’s come to the show Because this is the orbit of meeting 2 superstars at the forefront of the industry. “Ryan Gosling” comes with the role of a spy who has to be the target himself Roles like this are nothing new to him. But he still carried his role well. And his charm enhances the character well. Although it looks a bit normal, but while “Chris Evans” who came to be a brutal psychopath. It was a truly disturbing and disturbing role. That is another charm that we have seen from him. After playing the role of a good person for many stories

Another standout supporting actress, as always, is Ana the Armus, who has become a modern-day action queen and she’s still pretty cool. Although the roles she received are somewhat repeated from the previous movies, her charm is still dazzling and won’t change the hearts of the audience, just like “Regae-Jean Page”, even if the fire is minimal. A little bit, but coming out in each scene is very eye-catching. Overall, The Gray Man is a thrilling action movie  full of old success recipes which does not create much novelty, but with a great scale of the movie. With a production budget of over $ 200 million, we can see spectacular action scenes throughout the film, even if the script is not good. The narrative still won’t appeal. But the highlight of the movie is the showdown between the actors. I have to say that everyone together is a lady carrying for this movie.
