Hocus Pocus 2 tells the story of a group of high school girls who accidentally summon the “The Sanderson Family” brothers to Salem. Three decades after they vanish without a trace, hungry witches, Winniefred, Mary and Sarah, are looking for a young female victim who can “return” them to shine once more. This prompts a young girl to find a way to stop this magic-related catastrophe…before it’s too late.

We must say that the atmosphere that has happened has returned again The sweet childhood days have turned around again. It was unbelievable how much time had passed. But seeing the original cast return, such as “Bette Midler,” “Sarah Jessica Parker,” and “Kathy Najimi” was a human gain. Really, because they are still the legendary Sanderson.

Although we can clearly feel that They may not be as bright as they were in the past. But the professionalism and legend of their performances It also conveys this role smoothly. They are, of course, outstanding stars that the film itself cannot live without. This group of witches seemed to be born for them. And still beautiful, bright, charming, each character as well.

While the new Hocus Pocus 2 retains the same “Movie Edition” feel, from the original Disney magic fantasy comedy feel that still uses the same charm, it’s a shame the movie doesn’t look very good. How much have you developed? In addition to the eras and special techniques that are used better together in the film. The plot of the movie is not much different from the original.

The film is the work of “Anne Flecker,” a female director who once had great success with Step Up or The Proposal, although she has recently turned to directing a TV series. But having received this job, she still maintains a good standard. Her lines are still quite clear and used. especially the fanaticism of the musical genre That has become in this sector drops this element added to add color. that may not be necessary.

To be honest, the script for Hocus Pocus 2 is a bit too soft. The script structure is not that different from the first movie. Both the rhythm and mood of the movie remain the same. There are only improvements in the era, in fact, the first part is not a movie with a good script. Coming in this sector is still not making much progress. Still quite weak and unhealthy. Focus on serving the audience of the new generation of children who are the goals of this film harmless.

Let’s just say, by “Overview,” Hocus Pocus 2 might not be a movie that wasn’t as expected. But it’s still not quite the sequel that I wanted. The movie might take the 90s back to immerse yourself in the old, nostalgic atmosphere of the once entertaining world of Salem. But in terms of progression of the sequel is not so steep. Unfortunately, it still sticks to the old formula and rarely leaves the safe zone for something new. But still, the movie can still make the audience more or less enjoyable.
