Synopsis:
Sa Hye-Joon (Park Bo Gum) is smart and handsome. He is a nice guy and a popular model, but what he really wants is to become an actor. He has auditioned for many acting roles, but hasn’t found success yet. Unfortunately, Sa Hye-Joon doesn’t have much presence as an actor. Meanwhile, An Jung-Ha (Park So Dam) works as a make up artist. Bright and cheerful on the outside but lonely on the inside, Jung Ha takes out her stress and frustrations by fan-girling over idols.
Set in Hannam-dong, the play tells the story of a sense of accomplishment and hope gained by the talents inherited from parents in the process of the male and female protagonists becoming actors and growing into stars.
Park Bo Gum plays Si Hye Joon who is turning from a model to an actor. He is more realistic and emphasizes practicality. He has a gentle personality, but he doesn’t hesitate to draw boundaries, is smart and has a strong sense of empathy. He was very popular as a model and went overseas. However, in the process of transforming into an actor, he failed many auditions and failed to show his presence.
Pu Sodan plays the makeup artist Jinganhe. She has a kind heart, a gentle personality, and she looks at everything positively. But in fact, I was very lonely inside, even deliberately pretending to be strong to escape the lonely emotion. In order to escape the pressure of life, she started chasing idols in a pit, and after quitting her job, she worked as a makeup artist at Cheongdamdong Beauty Salon.
Bian Youxi plays the role of model and actor Yuan Hae Hyo. Although he is recognized by the audience in several works, his presence is not high, and he always feels that he is still short of red. He was born with a golden key, his grandfather is the chairman of a private school foundation, and his father is a university professor and director.
