Helsinki Cathedral is the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki, located in the neighborhood of Kruununhaka in the center of Helsinki, Finland, at Senate Square. The church was originally built from 1830 to 1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland, Tsar Nicolas I. Wikipedia

Helsinki Cathedral is a Lutheran Christian church built in a Neoclassical style of architecture. It was completed in the middle of the 19th century. The exterior of the cathedral is strikingly beautiful with columns. Corinthian (order), which is beautiful, classical, and built according to ancient Greek and Roman architecture. The cathedral’s distinctive feature is a large green dome, 260 feet high, surrounded by four smaller domes.

Above the cathedral’s four corner gables are statues of the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ. These 10-foot statues are the largest collection of zinc statues in the world. This cathedral is one of Helsinki’s most striking pieces of architecture. It is a church that has historical importance in Finland.
