Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long-Hanoi (Hoàng thành Thăng Long) is a cultural heritage site in Vietnam. The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is located in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is an old palace over 1,000 years, built during the Ly Viet dynasty to proclaim independence of the Dai Viet kingdom, the name of the ancient Vietnamese kingdom. All were built over the original Chinese fortress since the 7th century, which used to be the administrative and military center for 13 consecutive centuries. The style of construction is like a Chinese fortress in the 7th century, which the Long Palace was built on. This place is a palace built entirely of stones which is the property of the Ho Dynasty but the structure remains today. It has also been registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site because it is the only stone palace that remains in Southeast Asia. This has a long history Reflecting civilization in the lower Red River basin region located between the influence of the Han Kingdom (China) and the Champa (Southern Champa). It is regarded as an outstanding example of architecture in that period which is a wonder how people of that time could build such a beautiful palace. Within the old fortifications were the ruins of the ancient palaces of the beautiful Tung Long Kingdom, waiting to be restored and decorated to be as beautiful as before.
