Synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of massive economic growth in the 1990s, it follows A Bao, a self-made millionaire and his journey from being a young opportunist with a troubled past to accumulating dazzling wealth in the city of Shanghai. It also follows his entanglement with four women who represent the pursuits of his life: adventure, honour, love and innocence.

In 1992, the spring breeze of reform and opening up swept across China. Businessmen gathered in Shanghai Huanghe Road Food Street and stayed up all night. The most prosperous businessman among them was Mr. Bao. He and Li Li, the proprietress of Zhizhenyuan, had conflicts with each other and then they became business partners. Clothing, machinery, and finance were growing bigger and bigger every day. Almost all of them are big business sensations in Shanghai. A Bao and Li Li also developed feelings during their cooperation.
On the other side, Lingzi, the proprietress of a small restaurant on Jinxian Road, and Ms. Wang from the foreign trade company, who have been helping and supporting Mr. Bao for many years, also have feelings for Mr. Bao. Three golden flowers, each with its own beauty.
Where does Mr. Bao’s love go in the end?
