7 Days Kansai (Japan) Trip Review and Summary

Kansai trip review summary June 2015 (beginning of summer)

Kansai itinerary our this time travel by airline Air Asia X

Day 0: Departure from  Don Mueang Airport at 15.10 (Thai time) and arrives at Kansai Airport at 22.50 (Japan time)

Overnight at Kansai Airport

3:10 p.m. Departure Don Mueang Airport by Air Asia X

10:50 p.m. Arrive at Kansai International Airport and stay overnight at the airport.

Day 1: Kyoto (Use Kansai Thru Pass Day 1)

5:45 a.m. Take the first train to Osaka. Leave your luggage at the Keihan Tenmabashi Hotel.

8:00 a.m. Arrive at Kyoto, Karasuma Station, walk to Nishiki Market, on the way visit Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine.

10:00 a.m. Stroll through the Sanjo o-Hashi Bridge to go see the Gion Hojoe Festival Geisha, but the event has not yet started so go for a walk in the Gion district and Yasaka Shrine first.

12:30 p.m. Departure for Toei Kyoto Studio Park is divided into several sections such as Edo period model town , Toei Anime Museum , Rider Museum

15.30 Depart for Arashiyama to ride the Romantic Train first, then walk around the Arashiyama area in a hurry, including the bamboo forest, Nonomiya Shrine, Tenryuji Temple, Togetsu-kyo Bridge.

6:30 p.m. Take the train back to Osaka. walking to buy food and a sweater that Tenjimbashisuji 6 Chome

9:45 p.m. Arrive at Keihan Tenmabashi Hotel , take a rest and pass out on the first day. (Really greedy)

On the 1st night, stay at Kaihan Tenmabashi Hotel.

Day 2: Osaka (use Osaka Amazing Pass for 2 days)

Kansai Trip Review Day 2

8:30 a.m. Visit Osaka Castle. Because it is near the hotel, only reached but saw that today we woke up early to go to the castle, it’s not open yet So I went to kill time at Shitennoji Temple first.

9:30 a.m. Return to Osaka Castle. Reviews are divided into Osaka Castle outside and Osaka Castle inside

11:30 a.m. Continue walking to the Osaka Museum of History. The review will be divided into the Osaka Museum of History in the Naniwa period and the Osaka Museum of History in the Edo period.

1:00 p.m. to wait for the Aqua Liner, but with a misunderstanding that it was free So I decided not to sit at all. But there’s still a lot to go on.)

2:30 p.m. Go to the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living. Reviews are divided into Edo Period House Museum and Modern Japan

4:30 p.m. Go to the Shin-Sekai area, go up the Tsutenkaku Tower, and rub Billiken’s feet.

6:30 p.m. Stupid show at Floating Garden, watching the view of the rain.

8:00 p.m. Walk back to the Ferris wheel at HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel.

9:00 p.m. Arrive at the hotel and stay at the Keihan Tenmabashi Hotel .

On the 2nd, stay at Kaihan Temmabashi Hotel.

Day 3: Osaka (use Osaka Amazing Pass for 2 days)

8:00 a.m. Change the hotel to For Leave Inn Uehonmachi and deposit your luggage first.

9:30 a.m. Arrive at the Osaka Museum of Natural History (Osaka Museum of Natural History) will be divided into 2 parts. Museum of Nature Part 1 and Museum of Nature Part 2

12:00 noon: go up the Tempozan Ferris Wheel and Santa Maria Cruise, these two places are next to each other. The aquarium is also nearby. But today we won’t go in yet.

3:30 p.m. Go to the Science Museum Watch until the museum closes.

6:00 p.m. Go to see the view of the tall government building at Cosmo Tower, known in full as the Osaka World Trade Center.

8:00 p.m. Stroll around Namba and buy a Hanshin Tourist Pass at the Bic Camera department store.

9:00 p.m. Take a canal cruise in the heart of Namba, Tobori River Cruise.

Today I travel at a slow pace because my legs hurt and if you look at the map, will go round and round Because I want to get on the Santa Maria ship, but it’s open late. So I have to go to the natural museum first. And if going to continue with the science museum was afraid that he would not be able to get on the boat in time Today’s journey, so I have to go back and forth.

On the 3rd night, stay at For Leave Inn Uehonmachi.

Day 4 : Nara + Kyoto (Use Kansai Thru Pass Day 2)

7:30 a.m. Move back to Keihan Tenmabashi Hotel to leave your luggage first.

8:00 a.m. Travel to Mount Ikoma.

9:00 a.m. Get on the Ikoma Cable Car The car is a cute cartoon.

9:15 a.m. Get off at Hozanji Station and walk to Hozanji Temple, considered the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan.

10:00 a.m. Take the cable car to the top of Mount Ikoma to go to the Ikoma Sanjo amusement park. But intend to go see the view

11:00 a.m. Depart for Nara

11:30 a.m. Arrive at Kintetsunara station, and travel to Nara, Nara, which has gone to 2 main points.

1. Naramachi is a district in Nara. which is preserved as the old town area that we visit, there are 2 places that are

– Naramachi Lattice House is an ancient wooden house in the Edo period. which is preserved for tourists to visit for free

– Naramachi Museum is a collection of everything found. Exhibited in a small wooden house Observation point will be Migawari-zaru (Red and white cloth that is tied into a lump. He is a scapegoat. hang it in front of the house)

2. Kofukuji Temple: This temple has a five-story pagoda that is the symbol of Nara. Stop by and play with the cute deer. But the real one is smelly, the fur is hard, like a wild deer by nature.

1:30 p.m. Depart for Sakamoto, a district in Otsu Prefecture.

3:00 p.m. Take the Sakamoto Cable Car up Mount Hiei to see the view.

6:30 p.m. Arrive at Fushimi Inari Shrine, the sky is dim, and it’s getting dark before going back.

On the 4th night, stay at Kaihan Temmabashi Hotel.

Day 5: Kobe (using Hanshin Tourist Pass)

8:00 a.m. Move to the hotel and leave your luggage at For Leave Inn Uehonmachi .

9:10 a.m. Departure for Kobe.

10:00 Arrive in Kobe, walk from Kobe-sannomiya Station to Kitano -cho, a neighborhood of Western-style houses.

12:00 p.m. Walk back to the station. Kobe-sannomiya To continue to Kobe City Hall to go up to see the view on the 24th floor. But on the way, he found a market selling books. and toys at the Kobe Asahi Hall building.

2:00 p.m. Depart from City Hall, stop at Daimaru Department Store for a little more view, then walk to Chinatown.

3:30 p.m. Walk to Meriken Park , home to the Kobe Port Tower and the Maritime Museum.

4:30 p.m. Walk a little further at Kobe Harborland to be the Kobe Port with shopping malls, shops, and beautiful views that are outstanding would be Mosaic Mall, Anpanman Children’s Museum, Umie Mall.

6:30 p.m. Walk to Harborland Station to take the train back to Osaka.

7:30 p.m. Arrive in Osaka, take a walk around Namba. Find food at Matsuya Then continue walking to Den Den Town.

10:00 p.m. Arrive at For Leave Inn Uehonmachi.

Today’s buy passes Hanshin Tourist Pass.

  • Price is 500 yen (Purchased at the Information center, BIC camera department store) You can buy it and keep it for another day. Not required on the day of purchase.
  • Unlimited use of the Hanshin line between Namba and Nishidai(Kobe).
  • But do not forget that this pass does not go to Himeji Castle and cannot be used on the Kobe City Loop Bus.

On the 5th night, stay at For Leave Inn Uehonmachi.

Day 6: Osaka (using Osaka One Day Pass)

8:00 a.m. Move to the hotel to leave luggage at For Leaves Inn Nagai .

9:00 a.m. Depart for Osakako, stop to buy lunch boxes. Take it to sit and eat at the pier, eat and watch the Santa Maria ship go without haste.

11.00 a.m. Visit Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan OSAKA AQUARIUM KAIYUKAN ( episode 1 , episode 2 )

2:30 p.m. Stroll around DENDEN Town , buy game discs, find something to eat, and walk around.

9:00 p.m. Arrive at the hotel, check in at For Leaves Inn Nagai .

On the 6th night, stay at For Leave Inn Nagai.

 

Day 7: Koyasan (Use Kansai Thru Pass Day 3)

Today is the last day of the trip. But I have time to travel all day because the flight leaves around midnight. Let’s see where we can go today with just one Kansai Thru Pass.

6.00 a.m. Depart from the accommodation and travel to the holy land of Mount Koya.

It’s a long route starting from Nagai -> Nakamatzu -> Kongo -> Hashimoto -> GoKurakubashi —cable car -> Koyasan.

9:00 a.m. Arrive at Koyasan. Travel to Koyasan all day by taking the Koyasan bus, but you can only go to two places. Okunoin and Daimon may take a long time to enjoy the places. Other than that, use the method of sitting and watching the view on the bus.

3:00 p.m. Depart from Koyasan.

4:30 p.m. Arrive at Namba, take a walk, eat, shop, and walk around the EBISU market with KUROMON.

6:00 p.m. Before picking up luggage at the hotel, walk to another Nagai market and then head to Kansai Airport.

9:00 p.m. Arrive at Kansai International Airport.

00.10 Departure and go back to Thailand.

The plane departs at 00.05 and arrives in Thailand at 04.00 (actually the plane is delayed to 01.20 and arrives in Thailand at 05.15).
